This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or order from us, how we use it, and your rights.
Who we are
HiVis Trade is a trading name of Lizzielane Ltd (company number 13846972), Unit 6 Wellington Mills, Quebec Street, Elland, HX5 9AS. We are responsible for your personal information. Contact us about privacy at orders@hivistrade.com.
What we collect
- Order and contact details: your name, company, email address, phone number, delivery address and any PO number.
- Order details: what you ordered, prices paid, and messages about your order.
- Your artwork: logos and files you upload, and the mockups and proofs we create from them.
- Proof approvals: when you approve or ask for changes to a proof, we record the date, time and your IP address, as a record of what was approved.
- Payments: card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Website usage: we use Clicky, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to see which pages are visited and how people find us. Clicky doesn't use tracking cookies and anonymises IP addresses, so it doesn't identify you.
- Technical information: one essential cookie to keep your basket working (see our Cookie Policy), and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security.
How we use it, and why
- To take, print and deliver your order, including sending proofs, receipts and dispatch emails. This is necessary to fulfil our contract with you.
- To keep accounting and tax records, including VAT receipts. This is a legal obligation.
- To answer your questions and deal with returns or complaints. This is in our legitimate interests.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud. This is in our legitimate interests.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, using anonymised analytics. This is in our legitimate interests.
We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to, and we never sell your information.
Who we share it with
- Our payment provider, to take payment.
- Delivery companies, who need your name, address and sometimes phone number.
- Our website hosting and email providers, who store data on our behalf.
- Clicky, our website analytics provider (anonymised usage data only).
- Our accountants and professional advisers, where needed.
We only share what each needs. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, including receipts, for six years to meet tax and accounting rules. We keep your artwork with your order so we can reprint it for you; ask us if you'd like it deleted sooner. Artwork uploaded without completing an order is deleted periodically.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email orders@hivistrade.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

We may update this policy. The date below shows when it last changed.
